Provider and contact

Claervo provides Claervo Limits Guard for Jira. Privacy and data-rights requests can be sent to support@claervo.com.

Product boundary

The app is built on Atlassian Forge. Compute, Custom UI assets and app storage run in Atlassian's environment. There is no Claervo-operated remote backend, external database, advertising technology, product analytics endpoint or AI processing.

Data the app reads

The app reads configuration metadata through the Jira Cloud REST API as the app, only to measure usage against Jira's configuration limits.

  • Spaces (projects), fields, field configurations and schemes, work types and field options counts.
  • Work item security schemes and level counts, permission schemes and their grants.
  • Releases, workflows, workflow schemes, statuses, components and priority schemes.
  • An approximate count of work items and the site base URL.

Data the app stores

App data is stored with Atlassian Forge storage in your site's region.

  • Settings chosen by administrators.
  • Scan state and working data while a scan runs; deleted when the scan finishes.
  • Usage records and findings: identifiers, names, counts, dates and the evidence shown in the app.
  • Daily snapshots of usage records and site totals for trends.
  • Audit records: timestamp, action, result, entity identifiers and names, the acting administrator's Atlassian account ID, and for removed permission grants the grant definition needed for rollback.

Data the app does not collect

The app does not request or persist work item content, summaries, descriptions, comments, attachments, user names, e-mail addresses or other profile attributes. Personal data is limited to Atlassian account IDs in audit records. Customer data is not used to train AI models.

Retention and deletion

Snapshots follow the retention period configured in Settings (400 days by default). Settings → Reset app data removes everything the app stored. Uninstalling the app removes its Forge storage under Atlassian's platform rules.

Security and rights

Every administrative call checks an active Marketplace license and Jira administrator permission. Customers can exclude fields or spaces, disable the daily scan, export usage, findings and the audit trail as CSV, reset app data or uninstall. Applicable rights requests may be sent to the customer organization or support@claervo.com.
