Claervo PII Guard for Jira & Confluence

Terms and EULA

The conditions for authorized use of Claervo PII Guard on Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud.

Effective · 8 September 2026

License

Subject to applicable Marketplace terms and payment, Claervo grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on the Atlassian site(s) covered by the subscription, for the subscription term. Jira and Confluence are separate installations of the same app under one subscription.

Authorized use

The customer must be authorized to install the app and is responsible for choosing scope, rules and allowlists, for reviewing findings before acting on them, and for its own backup practices.

Service boundary

Detection is pattern-based and probabilistic. The app may miss sensitive data or flag harmless data; it supports, and does not replace, the customer's data-protection processes and legal assessments. Redaction replaces content and cannot be undone by the app.

Subscriptions

Cloud subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, taxes and refunds are handled through Atlassian Marketplace under Atlassian's terms. The free tier is published on the listing.

Availability and changes

Functionality may evolve as Atlassian APIs and Forge change. Availability is best effort on Atlassian infrastructure. To the extent permitted by law, Claervo's total liability is limited to the fees paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim, and Claervo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
